landscape.accounting
The foreground's objects in size classes, as GuidosToolbox's Accounting: every object labelled, measured and put in one of up to six classes (class 1 up to the first threshold, class k above threshold k-1 up to threshold k, the last above the last threshold), the map in GTB's colour codes. The foreground is the classes given, or the map is coded 0 missing, 1 background, 2 foreground, 3 and 4 special backgrounds.

landscape.contortion
Contortion, as GuidosToolbox: how contorted the boundary of each patch of foreground is (the turns of its outline), for the patches with a core and of the size given or more. The map gives GTB's values: 0 missing, 1 background, 2 neglected foreground, from 3 the contortion + 1; the display, the contortion scaled to 3-255 over the map's range. The foreground is the classes given, or the map is coded 0 missing, 1 background, 2 foreground.
| Input | Type | What it is |
maprequired | map | the map |
| Output | Type | What it is |
map | map | GTB's contortion map |
display | map | the contortion on GTB's display scale (3-255) |
| Setting | Type | What it is |
foreground | any | the foreground's classes (a class or a list) |
min_area | integer | the patches' least size in cells (default 1) |
landscape.mspa
Morphological Spatial Pattern Analysis (Soille & Vogt 2009), as GuidosToolbox computes it: the foreground split into core, islet, perforation, edge, loop, bridge and branch (internal features, inside core-openings, 100 more). The foreground is the classes given; without them the map is coded as GTB's: 0 missing, 1 background, 2 foreground. Cells without a value are missing.
| Input | Type | What it is |
maprequired | map | the map |
| Output | Type | What it is |
map | map | the MSPA classes |
| Setting | Type | What it is |
foreground | any | the foreground's classes (a class or a list) |
connectivity | integer | of the foreground: 8 (default) or 4 |
edge_width | integer | the edge's width in cells, 1-255 (default 1) |
internal | bool | tell internal features apart (default true) |
landscape.mspa_tiled
MSPA of a map larger than memory by overlapping tiles, GuidosToolbox's MSPA Tiling as landschaft's mspa_tiled, the same maps: MSPA of every tile (tile_size cells with an overlap), of each overlap the half nearest to each tile kept. An approximation, as GTB warns: near the seams the classes can differ from MSPA of the whole map where objects are larger than the overlap. Rasters on disk are read and written tile by tile (to path, a GeoTIFF; for a folder, a file of each by its name); a map in memory gives a map.
| Input | Type | What it is |
maprequired | raster | the map (0 missing, 1 background, 2 foreground) or rasters |
| Output | Type | What it is |
map | raster | the MSPA classes (on disk for rasters on disk) |
| Setting | Type | What it is |
foreground | any | the foreground's classes (a class or a list) |
connectivity | integer | of the foreground: 8 (default) or 4 |
edge_width | integer | the edge's width in cells, 1-255 (default 1) |
internal | bool | tell internal features apart (default true) |
tile_size | integer | a tile's side with its overlap, in cells (default 6500) |
overlap | integer | the tiles' overlap, in cells (default 2000) |
path | text | rasters on disk: the GeoTIFF written (default GTB's name next to the input: name_8_1_1_1.tif) |
landscape.parcellation
Parcellation, as GuidosToolbox: the patches (parcels) of every class of a map, and per class and for the whole map their number, the average patch size (APS), the area-weighted one (AWAPS, the effective mesh size), the division index and the parcellation index (PARC). The classes are whole values 1-255; 0 and cells without a value are missing.
| Input | Type | What it is |
maprequired | map | the map of classes |
| Output | Type | What it is |
parcels | map | each cell's parcel, numbered (0 missing) |
stats | table | per class: its parcels, cells, APS, AWAPS, AWAPS over the data, division and PARC (%) |
summary | table | the whole map: its parcels, cells with data, APS, AWAPS, division and PARC (%) |
| Setting | Type | What it is |
connectivity | integer | of the parcels: 8 (default) or 4 |
